Reparation is an important part of the work the Youth Justice Service do with a young person and plays a leading role in their rehabilitation process.

The key to maximising the impact of community reparation is firstly the range of placements available; variety is paramount, as is the quality of supervision placed alongside young people whilst accessing those placements. Get these two basic principles right and reparation becomes the challenging, rewarding and fulfilling activity it deserves to be and can form the cornerstone of every young person’s court order.
